1. Poor contact of the ground wire of the welding positioner will cause fluctuations in the welding current, which will make the welding process unstable. In severe cases, it will cause excessive fluctuations in the welding current, and the welding power supply will start with self-protection, resulting in arc stop;
2. The arc generated by the poor contact between the components of the conductive mechanism will cause these components to burn out, especially in the case of high operating current, the damage will be more serious.

2. The ground wiring method of the welding positioner

1. Install a φ600 mm, 20 mm thick conductive plate under the conductive copper ring of the welding positioner, and the conductive plate rotates synchronously with the worktable during work.
2. While installing the conductive disk, install two groups of conductors symmetrically, which are composed of brass conductors, conductor blocks, springs and adjusting nuts.
3. Conductor Fix the brass conductor by adjusting the bracket, and the brass conductor is pressed tightly to the conductive plate by the spring to keep it in good conductive contact.
4. The other end of the brass conductor is connected to the welding ground wire.
3. Requirements for the grounding conductive mechanism of the positioner

The contact surface between the conductive plate and the brass conductor must be rolled to form a smooth and smooth surface, which can improve the contact performance between the conductive plate and the brass conductor, reduce the wear of the brass conductor, and increase its life. The capacity of this conductive mechanism is about 2000A.
